We told you earlier about Steve Stoute's feelings regarding the Grammys and its voting process. Now Steve is speaking out on the talk show circuit. His first stop was "The Gayle King Show" and we have the interview for you inside...
In the words of Gayle King, Steve Stoute came on her show to "put the Grammys on blast." Gayle recently talked to Steve about the Grammys and their voting processes and his other concerns with the organization.
Steve said the Grammys were out of touch with the new reality of the music business. One major issue with many folks was that Justin Bieber lost out to Esperanza Spalding for Best New Artist even though this was her third album versus Justin's first.
Also, Steve talked about Justin's ability to use the platform of new media (e.g. iTunes, YouTube) to spread his music. Steve thinks an artist's cultural impact should play a role in the Grammy process.
Listen to Gayle's interview here.

Amy Adams scored her first best supporting actress Oscar nomination in 2005 for the indie dramedy Junebug, then another in 2008 for her acclaimed performance opposite Meryl Streep in Doubt... and she'll once again compete for that prize at Feb. 27's Academy Awards, this time for her turn as a fiery Boston bartender in The Fighter. But for Adams, the novelty of an Oscar nod has far from worn off. In fact, the 36-year-old actress insists that there's something -- or rather someone -- making this year's nomination just a bit more meaningful than the previous two: Adams' 9-month-old daughter Aviana.
"(This year's nomination is) special because I have a daughter now, and she can see Mommy and all of that," the actress tells Entertainment Tonight. And see mommy she will, as Adams plans to spend all day Sunday getting in some quality time with Aviana. "I'm going to hang out with little girl this time around," she says of her pre-Oscars plans.
Adams' movie The Fighter is nominated for seven awards on the night, including best picture, best director (David O. Russell) and best supporting actor (Christian Bale). Adams will also face off against costar Melissa Leo for the supporting actress statuette. And although many Oscar predictions are calling for Leo to snag the victory in that category, Aviana sure would be proud if Mommy won her first Oscar.
