Closing out the week with a busy morning, Halle Berry was spotted dropping off adorable daughter Nahla at school in Hollywood, California on Friday (August 5).
The Oscar-winning actress had a laugh with her too-cute tot as she scooped her into her arms and headed into the local schoolhouse before speeding away to head to a business meeting.
The outing comes just as it has been reported that Miss Berry's ex husband Eric Benet is giving wedded bliss another go after tying the knot with Prince's former wife, Manuela Testolini.
The pair exchanged vows earlier this week in a Southern California ceremony, with Benet's rep telling press, "Yes, I went to the wedding, and yes he did get married."

President Barack Obama turns 50 tomorrow and is celebrating in his hometown of Chicago tonight while hosting two fundraising events. Get the deets inside.......
In celebration of his 50th birthday tomorrow, President Barack Obama is hosting a fundraising concert and dinner. And in keeping with the White House's mantra of being all inclusive, the evening ranges from an affordable $50 concert, to , a pricey $36,000 per person private dinner.
The concert will feature Chicago natives Jennifer Hudson, Herbie Hancock and OK Go at Uptown's historic Aragon Ballroom. But President Obama might not get to hear the "Spotlight" singer as he will also hold a live-stream video teleconference for the public and volunteers, who will be hosting grassroots meetings all over the country in honor of his birthday.
So what does Mrs. O think about the big milestone b-dy? The Prez told NPR yesterday:
"I feel real good about 5-0. I've got a little greyer since I took this job, but otherwise, I feel pretty good. And Michelle still thinks I'm cute."
My good friend Caprice Crane's new book, With a Little Luck, is out today. Yay, Caprice!
It's gotten great reviews:
"Crane is one of the funniest writers of popular fiction around. The dialog (inner and outer) is laugh-out-loud, snort-inducing hilarious . . . Readers will want to cross their fingers and spit while throwing salt over their shoulders if it helps Berry reach her dreams. Highly recommended."
—Library Journal
"Fans of Stacy Ballis and Cara Lockwood will appreciate Crane's effortlessly funny style, which is often attempted in popular fiction but is rarely this well executed...Lighthearted and charmingly honest."
—Booklist
"[A] satisfying romantic comedy...[with] real character growth."

(Omg, who is that last fantastic blurber?) (I meant every word of it.)
And most importantly, she has the cutest dog ever (who likes to video chat with Bev):
Making quite a statement on the red carpet, AnnaLynne McCord was in attendance for the CBS/Showtime/CW summer TCA party in Beverly Hills, California on Wednesday night (August 3).
The 24-year-old starlet parted ways with her usual glamorous wares, instead rocking a white and green trucker hate, neon green tank top, white-washed ripped jeans and studded booties to the promotional affair.
Meanwhile, things continue to heat up between AnnaLynne and her new beau, "Prison Break" actor Dominic Purcell, who loves to surprise his leading lady while she's at work.
Of the pop-in visits, a source told People magazine, "in between takes [on set] she would go on a short walk with him or go to a private corner and make out with him for a bit."
The romance insider added that McCord, who doesn't seem to mind the 18-year age difference between her and Purcell, "seemed like she was beaming with excitement that he was visiting her."
Rocker Jon Bon Jovi, wife Dorthea, their sons Jesse, 16, Jacob, 9, and Romeo, 7, and daughter Stephanie, 18, were spotted boarding a boat that took the entire crew to a yacht awaiting their arrival in Croatia today (August 3).
After a season full of drama (and jerks!), Ashley Hebert finally got her happy ending on the season finale of The Bachelorette.
It was down to just two men -- winemaker Ben Flajnik, 28, and New York construction manager J.P. Rosenbaum, 34 -- and Hebert had a tough decision to make when both guys got down on one knee and proposed. But it was the sweet and considerate J.P. who won the final rose and a resounding, "Yes!" from from the Bachelorette in Fiji.
But first, Ashley had to turn down Ben, who did little to hide his anger at being rejected. "What I don't need you to do is sugarcoat it," he said. And when Ashley expressed her sadness at parting on bad terms, he scoffed: "Good things don't end, unless they end badly."
But once Ben left, the hard part was over, and Ashley looked completely smitten when J.P. arrived.
"All the time we've spent together, it's been the happiest time of my life," he told the 26-year-old dental student. "And you always say to me, 'You're smiling all the time. You're going to have wrinkles when you're older.' Well, I smile because of you. You bring that out. What I do know for absolute certain is that I am madly in love with you. I love everything about you."
Responding to his sentiment with a kiss, Ashley finally revealed her true feelings to J.P.
"Today is the reason why I went through all the good times and the bad times, and I've been wanting to tell you how much I loved you for so long now," she said. "You mean the world to me and I do not want to be with anyone else forever."
Then came the moment of truth, as J.P. popped the question.
"I'm so in love with you. You're the one. You're it," he said, presenting his girl with a Neil Lane engagement ring. "Ashley, will you marry me?"
Of course, she said yes, and the two sealed another season with a kiss and a walk off into sunset.
