'The Beaver' Release Date Change Puts Mel Gibson In The Summer Season

Oh, "The Beaver." It would already be one of the most intriguing films on our to-watch list without all of the controversy surrounding leading man Mel Gibson. Matt and Emily Team Up For Two Healthy Covers

The Adjustment Bureau costars Matt Damon and Emily Blunt were the lucky ones chosen to be the first ever cover stars of both Men's and Women's Heath, which hit newsstands today. Emily has been doing double duty promoting their collaboration as well as Gnomeo and Juliet, and we had the chance to learn all about her former gnome fears while at the recent junket for the animated picture. Emily and Matt are on the now in the March editions of the Health magazines to chat all about their upcoming film, their close friendship, and how she got into shape to play a ballet dancer. Matt also shared a few choice words about movies he feel are made just on a star's power at the box office, projects that he strives to avoid. They said:

  • Matt on Emily's acting abilities: "There are a lot of great actresses her age right now, but Emily is just f-king unbelievable."
  • Emily on having fun with Matt: "I met Matt and he was lovely and very funny, and instantly, I thought, 'Oh, we could be like teenage boys together. Just be weird and stupid and silly.'"
  • Emily on getting in shape to play a ballet dancer: "I looked like an aerobics teacher. My shoulders puffed out, my back looked like there was a barrel of snakes in it and I had an eight-pack!"
  • Matt on movies that are just star vehicles: "That?s like watching someone jerk off, really. It?s just absolutely not at all interesting, and not something I want to spend any time doing."

Justin Bieber might be a teen singer, but he also has some rapping game. Last week, his lyrical skills were featured on the track "Won't Stop" off Sean Kingston's new mixtape, King of Kingz. On it, Bieber blasts those who might not believe in his staying power.

When he stopped by Friday to chat with MTV News, the pop star revealed that he was the one who penned those inspirational words: "It was a while ago. I did it in the studio. I wrote it though, just letting you guys know," he shared. "Probably all you haters saying, 'He didn't write that.' I wrote it."

He then spit the bars back to reporter Sway Calloway, without missing a beat, live in the MTV newsroom. "Yeah they talk, yeah they talk/ They don't walk the walk I walk/ I won't stop 'til I drop, until then I reach the top/ I'mma walk to where I need to be, walk the path of destiny/ Definitely been neglected but God is always testing me" he rapped. "Rest in peace to all the men that died who were protecting me/ People in this world just want to let it be/ John Lennon made it different/ Don't just let it be, set it free."

This isn't the first time Bieber has displayed his rap skills. He frequently raps Ludacris' verses when performing "Baby" live, and he released a rap track last year under the moniker Shawty Mane. "I just do it for fun. I just mess around. It's something I like to do," he explained.

In November, he told us, "You know, Justin Bieber is not a rapper, and it would just be lame if I came out rapping.

"It's lame anyway because I'm a pop singer, but I thought it was funny. I just did it as a joke. It wasn't like anything serious."

Fergie Defends Christina Aguilera's Anthem Botch Job

While it seems like the whole world is coming down on Christina Aguilera for messing up the words to "The Star Spangled Banner" at Sunday's Super Bowl, she's got a supporter in fellow-Big-Game-performer Fergie.

"You know what? It's such a huge venue, your nerves take a hold of you," the Black Eyed Peas star said on Dan Patrick's radio show. "I completely understand. She's one of the best singers of our time. Nobody can take that away from you... But you get nervous at these things. We're human."

Fergie said that she, too, had troubles with her performance in Arlington. "Some of my notes were pitchy to me," said the Half-Time Show singer. Still, she said, she loved every minute of it. "It was so exhilarating. The whole thing. it was so big. That's a once-in-a-lifetime thing."

As for Aguilera, the superstar apologized on Monday for flubbing the words to the National Anthem.

"I got so caught up in the moment of the song that I lost my place," Aguilera said in a statement. "I can only hope that everyone could feel my love for this country and that the true spirit of its anthem still came through."

Best Buy aimed to make Super Bowl fans Beliebers when they aired their ad starring Justin Bieber and Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne during the big game between the Steelers and the Packers.

Dressed in "Tron"-type clothing, Ozzy appeared on a space set selling 4G service for Best Buy. In the ad, Ozzy shoots a commercial within the commercial for the store. Flubbing his lines, it's announced that a new face will replace the rock icon.

"I'll take it from here," Bieber chimes in. Then Bieber, also dressed in "Tron" clothing, looks into the camera and says, "It's Bieber 6G fever," besting Ozzy's 4G claims.

"What's a 6G?" Sharon Osbourne asks.

"What's a Bieber?" Ozzy replies.

Then Bieber, with facial hair and disguised as a crew member, reappears and says, "I don't know, but it kind of looks like a girl."

According to a press release for the ad, the commercial aimed to "showcase creativity and humor to millions of football and advertising fans throughout the country."

"We're delighted to have Justin and Ozzy help us tell the Best Buy story," said Drew Panayiotou, senior vice president of U.S. marketing at Best Buy. "We know people have high expectations for these ads, and Justin and Ozzy add a whole new dimension of fun."

Bieber made numerous high-profile appearances last week in anticipation of the February 11 release of his 3-D movie "Never Say Never," including stops at the "Today" show, "Late Night With David Letterman," "The Seven" and "Saturday Night Live." Next week, he'll premiere the flick in L.A.

When Bieber sat down with MTV News on Friday, he gave us his pick for the Super Bowl ... sort of. "Either way, whatever team wins, it's not my team," he said. Though he did have props for one team's fan-made theme song.

"Did you hear the Lil Wayne song ... 'Green and Yellow'?" he asked Sway of the New Orleans MC's remix of Khalifa's "Black and Yellow." "I saw it today and I thought that was pretty cool."
